Rehabilitation Service
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists work with all age groups, from newborn to the elderly, who may have a variety of the following problems:
- Bad Posture
- Difficulty walking and or poor balance
- Post surgery (rotator cuff repair, total knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery, etc.)
- Fractures of ankle, foot, leg, knee, hip, etc.
- Back pain
- Joint and muscle pain due to arthritis, trauma, or overuse
- Wound care
- Stroke or heart attack
- Amputation
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists work with all age groups, from newborn to the elderly, who may have a variety of the following problems:
- Difficulty dressing, bathing, feeding, or grooming
- Work related injuries
- Stroke or heart attack
- Arthritis of the hands and arms
- Repetitive hand injury (carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, etc)
- Traumatic hand injury ( fractures, crush injury, hand surgery, amputation, etc.)
Audiology
Audiologists work with patients of all age groups from newborn to the elderly. The audiologist performs the following services:
- Hearing tests
- Hearing Aid evaluations
- Hearing Aid fittings
- Hearing Aid repairs
Speech Therapy
Speech Language Pathologist works with all age groups, from newborn to the elderly, who may have a variety of the following problems:
- Difficulty swallowing
- Difficulty speaking
- Difficulty with thinking skills due to stroke, head injury, dementia, etc.
