Ambulatory Services

Rehabilitation Service

Physical Therapy

Physical therapists work with all age groups, from newborn to the elderly, who may have a variety of the following problems:

  • Bad Posture
  • Difficulty walking and or poor balance
  • Post surgery (rotator cuff repair, total knee replacement, arthroscopic surgery, etc.)
  • Fractures of ankle, foot, leg, knee, hip, etc.
  • Back pain
  • Joint and muscle pain due to arthritis, trauma, or overuse
  • Wound care
  • Stroke or heart attack
  • Amputation

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists work with all age groups, from newborn to the elderly, who may have a variety of the following problems:

  • Difficulty dressing, bathing, feeding, or grooming
  • Work related injuries
  • Stroke or heart attack
  • Arthritis of the hands and arms
  • Repetitive hand injury (carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, etc)
  • Traumatic hand injury ( fractures, crush injury, hand surgery, amputation, etc.)

Audiology

Audiologists work with patients of all age groups from newborn to the elderly. The audiologist performs the following services:

  • Hearing tests
  • Hearing Aid evaluations
  • Hearing Aid fittings
  • Hearing Aid repairs

Speech Therapy

Speech Language Pathologist works with all age groups, from newborn to the elderly, who may have a variety of the following problems:

  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Difficulty speaking
  • Difficulty with thinking skills due to stroke, head injury, dementia, etc.
